Mr. Postman the Busy Bee!

Mr. Postman has stopped by with several packages for me this past week. Fun! Today he brought me some new nail stamping image plates from Bundle Monster (ordered through Amazon), which I just had to have after seeing this super cute mani by Neglelakkmani. It reached me in exactly 6 working days, and I'm now the proud owner of image plates from Konad, Bundle Monster and some unknown brand making the hexagonal plates you can find on eBay. Yesterday I received a .925 Sterling Silver ring also bought through eBay, and the day before I got two brushes from Sigma Makeup (the SS197 Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki). I've already told you about the gorgeous .925 Sterling Silver ring I received on Saturday, and the magnets I managed to order in the wrong size. Friday I got a package I had been waiting for for three whole weeks from BeautyBay, and inside I found the highly praised Too Faced Chocolate Soleil matte bronzer. On Thursday he brought me the rest of the Yaby eye shadows I ordered plus a palette - this time from Camera Ready Cosmetics (I ordered from them before I found PROMAKEUPSTORE, which I wrote about here), and also two Sonia Kashuk brushes I bought from my fellow Spektrette l1lmamaj.

An excellent week, if you ask me.

“Mo Anam Cara”

Mr. Postman stopped by today as well, as he has done the last three days! Imagine that, receiving mail for three days in a row. Today he brought me some more magnets for depotting, but since I suck in math I ordered the wrong size, so I now have 100+ magnets in same size as M·A·C use. If you are in need of magnets, leave me a comment or an e-mail and I'll sell you some of mine.

Mo Anam CaraThe other package he brought me was a small bubble wrapper, and inside was a solid .925 Sterling Silver band. I bought a band on eBay, with the inscription "Mo Anam Cara" which translates into "My Soul Mate", and it was shipped to me from Galway, Ireland. I don't know what it is, but I think a part of me must be Irish, at least in my heart and soul. I'm aware that it might be a weird thing to buy for myself, but I don't really care. I love the band, and it fits perfectly on my right middle finger. In between the three words a small Claddagh is placed. The Claddagh has had a very special place in my heart for a long time, and I always wear the Claddagh on my finger.

Charming by Ti Sento

Ti Sento Locked UpI have finally found an answer to the inevitable question of what I want for my birthday or for Christmas. I recently stumbled upon a range of jewellery called "Charming by Ti Sento", and it's even sold here in Norway - at least at Thune. Unfortunately, they can be quite pricey depending on which charm you want, as most things are here in Norway. No wonder I praise the Internet! I managed to find a jeweller in the Netherlands with affordable prices, and international shipping! So I ordered one of the Ti Sento bracelets, a non-heavy simple bracelet in Sterling Silver, and I my very first charm - these gorgeous handcuffs called "Locked Up". I just adore the way they dangle! So cute. I willingly admit that I have my eyes on a few others as well, but they will be going onto my list of wishes.

I've always been mighty fascinated by charm bracelets for as long as I can remember, and I have always wanted one for myself. When I was in the US in 2002 I kept looking for one, but I couldn't find anything special, so I decided on going for another eBay rampage. Lo and behold, I struck gold.. or rather Sterling Silver! During 2003 I bought lots of tiny little charms from different sellers on eBay, picturing tiny little items I could identify myself with. I even found a teeny-tiny little wheelchair charm, and instantly hung it on my bracelet. Unfortunately I can't seem to find my bracelet, I must have misplaced it during the move to Trondheim. Anyway, I didn't pay much for either of those charms, and they are of a completely different quality than the ones from Ti Sento even though both are Sterling Silver.

"Charming by Ti Sento" is, as you can see from their website, a rather large range of incredibly charming charms of all sorts, and you can buy different kinds of bracelets for them as well. Some have room for only a few charms, while others are made up of small rings to fit nothing but charms. How can one not love them? I'm charmed! Grin
