Canon Speedlite 430EX II

I don't always buy makeup when I'm on one of my shopping rampages, mind you. Yesterday I ordered the Canon Speedlite 430EX II for my EOS 450D SLR camera. I do love my camera, but I've been kind of disappointed in it ever since I bought it. The reason for this is that I always know how I want my pictures to turn out, and I've always been told that I have a "good eye" - but I never seem to get my photos exactly the way I want them with this camera. There's always something wrong, like the colors being completely off or something like that, and it's driving me insane. Insane! Thankfully I have good friends who are into photography and willing to help a clueless soul as myself, so now I'm hoping this flash will do the trick. Time will show!

The next time I buy something for my camera I think it'll be a new objective, as I've been planning to buy the Canon EF 28mm F2.8 for quite some time now. I guess I'll have to prioritize a new objective instead of all that tempting and oh so colorful makeup, so I'm actually able to shoot some acceptable EOTD's for my blog.

One's gotta love new gadgets!
