Shopping for tea online

Oh God, I've rediscovered eBay. The good thing about that is that it accumulates mail, and I just love mail - but the not-so-good thing about it is that it's costing me money I really can't afford to spend on new "toys".

I never thought I would ever buy tea off eBay, but I have. The thing is, when my American family came to visit us for the first time in 2000, Lisa had brought some tea with her as a gift. The tea was St. Dalfour Golden Peach, and I can honestly say that it was the best tea I've ever tasted - and I drink a lot of tea. I managed to get my hands on another batch a few years later, but it disappeared too soon. I've been searching the Internet ever since to see if I could find a webshop that offered these for sale, but I never did. Until now. Unfortunately you had to e-mail them if the order was international, and there's something wrong with their server so my e-mail never reached them. Then it suddenly struck me, why hadn't I looked for it on eBay? Do you think I was ecstatic when I actually find my precious St. Dalfour tea? I ordered 250 bags with Golden Peach, 50 bags with Strawberry and 50 bags with Black Cherry. It turned out a little more expensive than it would have if the local store had sold it, but I don't care. I'm finally getting a new batch of Golden Peach, and I know where to get more!

Other than that I got myself a brand new Parker Vector pen, fountain that is, and I love it. It's got a fine calligraphy nib, and it's even got my name engraved on the cap. I also got 17 ink cartridges, or refills if you like, in the colors blue-black, purple and turquoise. So easy, and so gorgeous! I just love how my handwriting turns out with a fountain pen, so to hell with all digital writing! ..I don't quite mean that though, I love the typography lessons we're having in class now. Interesting, and fun! Anyway, I ordered it from UK, and it arrived within 4 days. I paid the total of 205,- NOK, whereas 156,- was for the pen with the engraving and the ink. One just have to love online stores like that!
